I try not to mind child avatars — I don’t cross paths with them that often and they have every right to live their virtual lives as they choose. But this kid skipping around Grim Bros was disturbing, I’m not sure why. I’ve known grim child avs in urchin form, so not sure why this one was freaky. Maybe it was just having this particular yippy skippy beribboned gesturbating giggler up in my grimness that was troubling. Bah.

Rach loves plaid, so she decided to try her hand at making her own. I’m proud to present the first Borkotron Tartan! She’s quite pleased with herself, look at her face.

Rach went on to create the butterscotchy plaid that was used as the seat cushion for the desk stool in the Atomic Owl Steam Hunt Prize. Go, Rach!

I ran into this strangely beautiful avatar while making the 50L Friday rounds (which meant lag was kicking my ass and I couldn’t get a better pic). Anubis? Bastet? Either way, I was intrigued by the entire avatar.

Yes, I took the plunge (thanks, Wildstar) and now have my own ship. She is a beautiful frigate, which I have yet to name. I think I’ll name her after I get better at sailing her… just in case anyone remembers the name the graces her.
